Two blogs I really like, and I'm not even sure why yet...
....are Evan Schaeffer's blawg Evan Schaeffer's Legal Underground and Raymond "Rainman" Ward's blawg Minor Wisdom.
It may be because Evan says that, like Brad Pitt, he is from Springfield, Missouri, and I am from many generations of Springfield-Mountain Grove people (so maybe Evan, Brad and I are related). Or, in Ray's case, because I once knew a very smart, and beautiful woman lawyer at Rays' fine New Orleans-based law firm Adams & Reese. Or because Ray has a one-line bio: "New Orleans, Louisiana, Earth". Or because I went to school in the American South--and I just like people from there. (Southern Missouri counts as the South.)
Anyway, I look at their sites every day. Ray and Evan are interesting, literate, funny, creative, and they care about the law. They can write, too. Each likely has heard the word "eclectic" a few times to describe their sites if not themselves. We are lucky they are lawyers--and more than lawyers. Whoever these guys are.
