The True Meaning of the Season...is on the Ivory Soap bar.

Speaking of Cincinnati, which leads us to consumer marketing star Procter & Gamble, which together with my Dad was kind enough to put me through schools, which in turn reminds us of one of P&G's first products, Ivory Soap (discovered purely by accident in the 1800s), I just noticed today, right here in River City, that the wrappings on some of the bars these days say, in French and English: "There's no place like home".

In Indian Hill, the unusual and interesting Cincy suburb I grew up in from ages 9 to 18, the November/Thanksgiving issue of a publication called Indian Hill Living quotes Jane Howard:

Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.

Happy holidays, folks, to you and your tribe.
