Charon QC - Rest in Peace.
My friend Charon QC has died. No flowers. CQC was nihilist. He'll be missed, mainly.

It is hot where I am now, Dan....but thanks for your call.... on my mobile. 'I'll be back.' I think you have a State Governor who has the copyright in that particular saying?
Although... I understand...that while he can be a Governor of a large US State, he cannot be President (?).
Probably a good thing? Can't have non US born people holding high office. Perfectly reasonable. Otherwise.... You could end up with Tony Blair running for office.... I understand that he will be spending a fair bit of time in the US soon - unless Inpsector Knacker of Scotland Yard arrests him in the 'cash for honours' mess.
I gather it is quite difficult to get into the States if one has a criminal record. Sadly, I got caught for speeding on my motorbike some years back and was convicted... largely because I 'grassed myself up' and then, to make absolutely certain the Crown Prosecution Service actually got a result, I 'confessed'.
The magistrate was very polite. Thanked me for assisting the court. Aked me if I thought 3 penalty points and a 300 GB pound fine was acceptable. I checked the money laundering regulations - which I just happened to have about my person, and told her that it was 'good summary justice'.
I look forward to doing the podcast with you on the 14th - I have defied medical science for many years - and I have done so again.
