Small, Nimble and Excellent Goes Global

At Law.com, see Networks Help Small Law Firms Go International. The article mentions that, according to LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell, there are about 120 legal networks, most of them international. WAC? estimates that worldwide there are now at least 400 international law consortiums, networks and alliances. These groups are growing in number as technology continues to level the playing field in the competition for the best clients, and higher-end lawyers form boutiques and firms between 10 and 100 lawyers to service those clients. Our firm, Hull McGuire, has participated actively in and used two such groups for many years, including the IBLC, based in Salzburg, Austria.
