Brit bloggers meeting, drinking, conspiring and possibly mating.
Charon QC reports that GeekLawyer and Ruthie each host parties for bloggers in London on Monday, October 22. Venues, respectively, are The Harp off Trafalgar Square and the posh Cafe Royal in Piccadilly. WAC? votes for GeekLawyer's The Harp: cheaper beer. Blogging by lawyers and non-lawyers alike all over the world is now thought to have benefits no one anticipated.

Hey Dan... mille gracie... I can only say this tonight on the eve of glory
I have written a short speech for Geeklawyer to deliver at the UK Blawgers binge-drinking evening on Monday...
We few, we happy few, we band of bloggers;
For he to-day that shares his drink with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And blawgers in England now a-bed, like Charon
Shall think themselves accursed they were not there,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any blogs
That drank with us upon UK Blawgers day.

The only reason I picked the Cafe Royal was that I happen to be on a course there that day, so I can simply fall downstairs afterwards and meet people in the bar afterwards. No doubt I shall then convene with Geeklawyer and his group at some point.
As for mating: well I'm an enternal optimist, and in the event you ever actually turn up and meet me, I'll concern myself with the possibility :-)
Anyway Dan, I'm a classy bird. I trust when we do finally meet you aren't going to try and fob me off with a Big Mac and a Travelodge.
