More white stuff you might like.

WAC? likes Sarah Silverman (one 2007 Village Voice piece called her "the upscale cousin of Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat, draping herself in insensitivity in order to use it as a mirror and reflect everyone else's") and so we are bound to be curious about the blog Stuff White People Like, and give it a wide berth as well. We do so with a short prayer that our busy world-smart clients, who rarely read blogs and really (sorry, legal bloggers) don't need to, don't read our What About Paris? edition on weekends. And then there's a book, too. You can read a March 2008 review of it in the equally godless The New Republic, where Adam Sternbergh writes "Why White People Like 'Stuff White People Like'". Got all that?

Jesus, Holden, why don't you just say we like (a) people with moxie and (b) the First Amendment a lot? We don't ever need to apologize for being interested in anyone with the stones or ideas of a Sarah Silverman or Christian Lander. Read The Handbook again.
