Les Bouquinistes

More than a tower or a statue, or an artist's or soldier's name, the green bookstalls of Paris are the city's most apt and enduring "mark". I can't decide whether les bouquinistes look better in the hundreds of paintings and etchings of them in the last 400 years than in the thousand of photos of them.
