Over-communicating (is probably good).

You'll never lose a sane client if you follow this one. Rule 5 from our world-famous and spectacularly annoying-but-accurate 12 Rules is "'Over-Communicate': Bombard, Copy and Confirm". There are exceptions. But even the highest-end clients should want a copy of what you are billing them for. If they say they don't, you should wonder about that, and maybe ask why. There are dumb-ass clients and GCs; there are not-dumb-ass clients and GCs. If in doubt, send your work product anyway. Hey, they are paying for it. Hearing "don't copy me" is way better than hearing "I didn't receive that/know about that".
