The Real Paris.
In another illustration over the centuries (this one from the 1400s) of an important Greek myth, Paris, the Trojan prince, judges a beauty contest. The goddesses Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite compete for a golden apple.

Who is the painter for this?

Good question, Joseph--and we don't know. The more famous ones are by Peter Paul Rubens, Albrecht Durer, and Lucas The Elder Cranach--and are earlier than this.
I can't even remember what Holden said about this one when he dredged it up. (He's in Austria now with his family but sometimes still chips in.) It may be a tapestry by unknown artist. It's a bit boring and with a forlorn look--but not the usual 'Judgment of Paris'.
