White stuff we might like.
This blog is written chiefly by boring Anglos who grew up in the 1960-1970s and said "gee" and "super" a lot. They didn't let any of us out of Grosse Pointe or Lake Forest much. We still seek true balance. So we do like Sarah Silverman--one 2007 Village Voice piece called her "the upscale cousin of Sacha Baron Cohen's Borat, draping herself in insensitivity in order to use it as a mirror and reflect everyone else's"--and of course we are bound to be curious about the blog Stuff White People Like, and give it a wide berth as well.

Jesus, Holden, why don't you just say we like (a) people with moxie and (b) the First Amendment a lot? We don't ever need to apologize for being interested in anyone with the stones or ideas of a Sarah Silverman or Christian Lander. Read The Handbook again.
