Long Gone Daddy in the USA: The Living End of the What About Clients? Blog.

Labor of Love Ended. In the summer of 2005, we started WAC at the suggestion or encouragement of three Renaissance men, Chris Abraham, Mark Del Bianco and Patrick Lamb. We can't tell you how much the blog and our readership meant to us. It permitted us the honor to meet in the flesh--here and abroad--some vibrant and inspirational people, and to trade ideas about getting life and work right. Most of our post are "evergreen" posts: short sketches containing simple but enduring how-tos and truths, we had hoped. So we will keep the site up as an archive. Je vous remercie de tout cœur.

So glad I got to meet y'all here and I look forward to your next incarnation (there will be one, right?)

You can't do this. You just can't. I refuse to accept your resignation letter.

Thanks, Karen and Dan.....sure we'll find a new cyber gig. :)

I concur with my learned colleague Harris J. Very sorry to see WAC (WAP) go!

Thanks, kind sir.

I agree with Dan. The blawgosphere needs WAP.

You won't be able to help yourself anyway. You'll be away two months before you are itching to post.

This is not going to look good on your permanent record. Actually, not true. It's been a fabulous run. Sorry to see you pack it in, but after having run out of gas in a much shorter span, I got nothing but appreciation.

Thank you for your honourable service.

This was one of the first law-related blogs I started to read regularly. I've learned a lot. I can't thank you enough for your contribution to my career.

Please please please keep the site up as an archive, even if you don't post.

Will do, Alan.

What?! I am so sad to hear that. I hope the archives remain. Will miss you but wish you the best.

Was it only 7.5 years? It seemed like WAC/WAP has always been part of the blogosphere. Very sad to see it depart.

Thank you for enlightening us with every post, and with many, pushing us in the right direction. Yes, it it all about clients. We will miss you.

Disappointed but grateful. This was a reliable place to get my mind limbered up and in the right place each morning. It will be missed.
