Double Bridge Publishing: Getting great writers to an ocean of eager readers.

Authors who have tried and failed to be published--including untold legions of writers of great works no one will ever read--should appreciate this new online publishing platform: DoubleBridge Publishing. DoubleBridge was established to get the best writing to an eager reading public without bottlenecks caused by entrenched literary agent-publishing house regimes pressured to limit the number of titles published each year. Unlike traditional brick and mortar publishers, DoubleBridge relies on crowdsourcing for much of its publishing functions, and provides valuable review services, close to cost, to writers and the public. A manuscript is reviewed for a small fee by several qualified reviewers who, in effect, screen the publication for quality and drive its next step. DC-area businessman Richard O'Brien, who launched DoubleBridge last month, has created a much-needed platform to link writers to qualified book reviewers, editors, formatters, designers and marketers to improve the quality of manuscripts received and work together to publish the best.
