June 6,1945.
June 6, 2019. I’m not a churchgoer; I don’t pray much. But today I’ll likely do both. Seventy-five years ago this morning Allied forces commenced the Normandy Landings. D-Day. June 6, 1944. That, folks, is when I was saved. On that day alone, 4,414 Allied combatants died in battle. And 2,501 of the dead were Americans. I don’t really know what to say. Thank you so much, all of you.
