Good Morning!

Monday, April 27, 2020.

It’s Celebrate The Happy and The Strong Week.

Because you Can’t Do Anything without us.

Because we’ve celebrated The Bummed Out and The Weak way too much.

Outside.

Please get outside today. Respect the Social Distancing wishes of the Woke, the Paranoid and the minority with legitimate health concerns. But get out and be in the World.

Gene Dwyer’s “She Walks On Gilded Splinters”

New Orleans-based Gene Dwyer is a gifted writer who deserves to be a household name. And I’m going to try to help him do that. You can you help in this crusade by buying and reading “She Walks on Gilded Splinters.” From Dwyer's website:

Marie Laveau of New Orleans is recognized as one of the most influential women of 19th Century North America. The life and legend of this Voodoo Priestess has been clouded in mystery. Her followers in the American South witnessed her supernatural powers of healing and casting spells prior to the Civil War and then during Reconstruction. Her legend, including her immortality, is even stronger and more complex. Thousands come to her New Orleans mausoleum every year to ask favors and pay homage.

"She Walks On Gilded Splinters" is the never before told story of the life and legend of Marie Laveau. Explore 16th Century Africa and New Orleans. with a riveting opening chapter in Selma, Alabama on March 7, 1965, a watershed day in the American Civil Rights movement. The novel is a unique, intricate murder mystery following retribution for the sins of past generations set against the history and consequences of the slave trade.

Good Morning!

Good Morning!

It’s #OppressionWednesday again.

Who did your American family invade, conquer, kill, lie to, steal from, cheat, exploit and otherwise oppress between 1607 and 1789?

Please come forward.

Your best work.

Your fondest memories.

😀

Too much “Democracy”?

Has too much “democracy” been killing my beloved 230-year-old experiment called America? When everyone is “someone” mediocrity is the new normal and goal. Have we stretched the idea of “equality” too far? Are we punishing merit and rewarding marginal performance so we can feel good about ourselves? And why can’t we ever talk about it? It’s killing us. We are still stifling expression of unpopular ideas and different speech. Sure. Everyone has value. But some humans have far, far more value and utility than others.

Enough.

Enough is enough. And sorry to some of you. Not in health care but I live in dead center downtown residential DC and can tell you that (a) the pandemic is overblown if not a ruse, (b) only new age GenY ‘males’ take it seriously, (c) we’ve all been had like simple medieval serfs and (d) time to get off our knees. People die in pandemics. It happened to a 37-year-old beloved woman in my family Christmas Eve 1918. My namesake’s Mom. But we must go on. Can we get back to work, please? The business of living. America and the World? Please.

What’s your name?

Fame still eludes me. I did Grace Slick by accident twice. Pre-Jumbo era. No press interviews. No invites to talk shows. Nothing.

Opium

Nice to see other DC people doing Opium outside in the parks today. Nice to feel part of something. This a great epidemic or what?

Social Distancing for DC People.

People of Washington DC: “Social Distancing” does not mean when in public being hostile paranoid virtue-signaling frightened hyper-political new age Cunts. Get a grip. Get off your knees. Call someone who needs to be called. Do Something. Anything. But don’t be Weenies.

Glory Days.

In next few weeks, I’ll be posting write ups about my firm, me and best blog posts at WAC/P? since 2005. And earlier writing. Some press coverage about me or mine doing what we love: lawyering. Wins. Defeats. Court things. Travels. Sexual conquests too but mainly just of famous girls or women. Some print newspaper or magazine features I wrote. All over past 25 years. If you think it’s all pretentious or useless you can always kiss my ass. Thanks.
