Renaissance Weekend's 25th Year December 28-January 1--Getting Recharged with New Ideas.

Just in case everything I know is just plain wrong, I am headed to Charleston, South Carolina to meet with members of a group I was invited to join in 2003 and which has added a lot my thought processes and my life. For inspiration and new ideas, some people go on spiritual retreats, some go to spas, and others prefer oceans, lakes, trout streams and mountains. I have pretty much done them all--but the best for me is to get around people from as many different disciplines and walks of life as possible. Talk a little, listen a lot. I am really looking forward to it and feel lucky to be able to go.

Hello,

I visited you site for the first time today and felt strongly about thanking you for providing such illuminating information!! I agree completely with your statements here regarding the generation of new ideas (and a lot of your other views). You seem very good at what you do. I spend a lot of time searching for insight into the complex needs of others and find that the best way to accomplish this is always through human connection. I do not mean to be negative when I state that I rarely discover ideas that are as positive and client-oriented as (I find) yours to be. The fact that you are a lawyer is of no surprise to me. I have always associated the caring and involvement in the customer experience with the attributes of a great lawyer. I myself have a background in business, nursing and creative design. My ultimate "wish-list" resume of knowledge includes law. Since I may currently be in the position to actually attend law school, I was really happy to find your site. I just started my own business and feel strongly about each one of my client's happiness and quality of life. Throughout my own life, I have actively pursued diverse situations where ideas and lives evolve through synergy and great times. It is amazing what connection with others can bring to life.

I got the extraordinary chance to attend undergrad at the University of South Carolina in 1991-95. Charleston was an awesome place to spend time and I hope you enjoyed yourself there in 2005-06. What a wonderful place!

Thank you again for your helpful insight. I wish you much luck!! The world needs as much of your comments as it can get - (if I may be so bold).

With great respect,
Kate
